Secondary Pathway for Athlete Account Creation in Tully

While the primary and most efficient method for athletes to create their Tully account is through the organization specific QR code, Tully also offers a secondary pathway using a direct URL. This article explains when and how to use this secondary method for athlete account creation.

What Is the Secondary Account Creation Pathway?

Athletes can create their Tully account using the following direct URL:

https://portal.tully.app/register

This link takes the athlete directly to the account registration page.

Important: This pathway is for athlete accounts only. It should not be used to create parent accounts.

When to Use This Pathway

This secondary method can be used if:

  1. The athlete has an existing profile created within the organization’s Tully roster.

  2. The athlete's profile includes a valid email address.

    1. The email address is required so Tully can correctly map the new account to the profile that already exists in the organization.

If the athlete does not have a profile in the system, or if the profile does not include a valid email address, the account creation will not be successful.

How the Secondary Pathway Works

  1. Athlete navigates to: https://portal.tully.app/register

  2. Athlete completes the required fields to create their account.

  3. Tully matches the new account to the existing athlete profile using the email address stored in the profile.

  4. Once successfully matched, the athlete gains access to their data, summaries, and any programs assigned to them.

Key Notes

  • The QR code method is the preferred method and faster for both athletes and coaches and reduces errors.

  • Always ensure athlete profiles are created in advance and include correct email addresses before directing an athlete to use this URL.
